Is PLDT Down or Experiencing Lag Right Now?

This page is made for all PLDT subscriber to help them find whether PLDT internet service is experiencing a technical problem like slow down internet connection or internet interruption. This page serves as crowdsourcing CUSTOMER ADVISORY.

As of April 27, 2017 – PLDT customer in Mindanao Areas both Fibr and MyDSL suffer persistent downtime.

As of February 1, 2017 – PLDT customer will experience persistent down time and low internet connection.

As of January 24, 2017 – PLDT customer experience slow down internet connection, including Fiber and DSL.. (confirmed affected Davao, Gensan and near provinces in South Cotabato)

As of December 15, 2016 – PLDT internet connection speed has been fully restored.

As of December 14, 2016 – PLDT is experiencing slow down internet connection (Nationwide), including Fiber and DSL connection. Playing online games like Dota 2 is not advisable or else you will get low prio :).

How to Fixed Internet Connection if you’re the only one experiencing the problem?

  • Turn off your Internet Modem for 15 seconds
  • Then turn it on, try accessing any website if it works.
  • If not, go to https://192.168.1.1 then enter login information:
    • username: adminpldt
    • password: 1234567890
  • Go to Advanced settings > Admin
  • Click the Reboot button

If the above instruction doesn’t work, you might try calling PLDT customer service @ 172.

    yesterday it took forever to load the speedtest page but when doing the speedtest it showed i got the speed correctly! but its as slow as hell! is the speedtest rigged??

    up to now i have no dial tone and my net is only 2mb…
    its 2days already.. i’ll already reported it..

    Please improve your service more…we ara good paying subscribers and sadly your service is way too low just like your internet service..i hope this gets your attention..thanks!

    Ano ba yan. . . Ilang ulit nyo na ako niloko na ok ang connection ko. Pag 1 week before ng due date ko wla na akong interner. Lag lampas ng due date ko ang lakas ng connectio usually 2 weeks on the 3rd and 4th week OMG mabilis pa ang PAGONG. Taas taas nyo maningil ang dali dali nyong makaputol : computer generated pa. On time kami mag bayad pero ni minsan NO SATISFACTION ang connection nyo. Kailan kayo magbabago? Kung may iba lang sana na internet company matagal na ako ng CHANGE. Panay Salita kayo sa word na IMPROVED CONNECTION pero WALA naman mabute pa si Duterte ang bilis mag ACTION sa problema.
