If you’ve been wondering how to unlock or craft new skills for your Valkyrie in Legend of Ymir, you’re not alone. Unlike other features in the game, the skill system isn’t part of the auto-navigation or guided quests which leaves many players confused about where to find it.
Here’s a quick guide on how to unlock, purchase, and craft skills for your Valkyrie.
Where to Get New Skills
Skills in Legend of Ymir can be purchased from the Skill Book Merchant found in the major cities of each region. These NPCs are easy to miss since the game doesn’t automatically point you to them.
- Look for Skill Book Merchant NPCs in city areas.
- Interact with them to browse the list of skills available for your Valkyrie class.
- Skills can be purchased using Coins (Silver) – no premium currency required.
Each Skill Merchant offers skill books specific to different Valkyrie classes, so make sure to check the correct merchant for your character type.
How to Craft and Unlock Skills
Once you’ve purchased the skill books, open your Skills Tab in the main menu. From there, you’ll find the Craft Skill option.
Follow these steps:
- Open Menu → Skills Tab.
- Choose the skill you purchased from the merchant.
- Click Learn to unlock and activate it for your Valkyrie.
You can repeat this process for all available skills in your class and once crafted, they’ll be permanently unlocked for use in battle.
After unlocking your new skills, it should now appear at the bottom corner of your screen. That’s it!
