(NASDAQ: EA) family, has today announced the soft launch of “Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia” (PvZ3) in the Philippines, along with other select regions. This marks the return of the cherished PvZ series, staying true to its strategic gameplay roots while incorporating new puzzle-adventure elements.
You will join Patrice and Crazy Dave in defending their home from waves of returning Zombies. Players will be thrust into the heart of Neighborville, where they must protect their turf against the insidious Dr. Zomboss and his relentless zombie hordes. The game retains the much-loved mechanics of the original PvZ, but with a twist: “Retaining the original’s mechanics, it offers a new story mode format, excluding arcade mode.”
This story-driven iteration of the game will guide players through a series of strategic tower defense challenges, each building upon the last. The refreshed gameplay includes puzzles and adventures, calling for both strategic planning and quick thinking.
In PvZ3, progression is tied to the collection of tacos, adding a deliciously fun element to the game. Although PvZ3 is free-to-play, it incorporates a microtransaction system, allowing players to enhance their gaming experience.
