After that, fill up the form. Don’t be confused with the Account number and the account number shows on your power bill. The correct Account number is the 6-digit Billing ID (Eg. 000000).
Then, enter the exact Amount, then your Surname, and First name. Example input should be:
- Account Number: 000000
- Amount: 5,000
- Surname, Last Name: My_Last_Name, My_First_Name
Just hit Continue, if your account has been found – it should display the payment confirmation. If not, it will display an error “Pay Bills Error, New billing data is not yet avaialble or the Account Number is invalid.”.
If found, just confirm and pay and you are good to go.
How to Pay Using GCash
Paying on GCash is similar, go to Bills > Electric Utilities > then find and select SOCOTECO2.
For Gcash form, it is straight forward and form labels are correct. Just fill up the 6 Digit Billing ID, Surname, First Name, and Email Address.
After that hit continue and pay.
