The next level Ragnarok MMORPG you’ve been waiting is dropping its first English-version closed beta (CBT) tomorrow, April 23, 2021. However, the CBT is only available for android devices. iOS user might had to wait a little bit longer for the official launch or play through an emulator. Officially licensed by Gravity Korea, the Ragnarok X: Next Generation (RoX) is a new MMORPG mobile game based from the original Ragnarok Online.
Unlike the previous mobile version of the game, it has tons of exciting features that it has never seen before on a mobile.
To those who are interested in participating in the Closed beta, you can now preload their game at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.play.rosea. But be quick, as only 30,000 slots are available for CBT. The following are the breakdown details for slot reservation:
- 10,000 slots – before server launch (before April 23, 1:00PM)
- 20,000 slots – during or after server launched (after April 23, 1:00PM)
During the CBT, all progress will be deleted after the testing. But topped up amount will be carry over to the Open Beta (OBT) or official launch of the game with additional bonuses. Refer to our post for CBT to OBT recharge.
The server will start on April 23 at 1:00 PM (Manila, Philippine time) and will end on May 8, 2021 at 4:00 PM (Manila, Philippine time). Those who cannot make it, an error message will show saying “The maximum number of beta participants has been reached. Thank you for your interest.”.
Make sure you have enough storage space. When installed, the whole file size of the game is at 2.4GB. As for the download size, the app size is 640 MB and has an additional download of 1,338.8 MB.
