LOL Wild Rift disabled all Accounts who Manage to Play using APK/OBB

Written by

League of Legends Wild Rift just announced that all players who manage to play the game during the alpha test using an unauthorized copy are now now disabled. This is after some alpha test users shares the APK and OBB files of the game to the internet and some players manage to play the game even without invites – making the server of Wild Rift unable to handle the large amount of unauthorized players during the alpha test.

It is rumored that the APK and OBB can be bypass by using an high-end mobile phone, allowing players to create an account and play the game without whitelisting their email-address.

Some players who were able to play the game recently reported today that they received an error message while attempting to access the game that says “Your account has not been whitelisted. Login failed.”.

Wild Rift Announcement

Here is the complete announcement posted from the Facebook page of League of Legends Wild Rift:

“One of our goals for the Wild Rift Regional Android Alpha is to gather data and feedback from a small group of players in a couple of regions before entering larger rounds of testing across the world. We think it’s critical to take in early feedback from players to make Wild Rift the best possible game it can be at launch, and beyond.

Last weekend, we saw that many players found a way into the alpha without a direct invite, by installing a version of Wild Rift onto their phones through third party sites.

To be blunt: our servers and processes aren’t quite ready to handle this many of you just yet, and we can’t host a whole lot of new players at the cost of stability. Because of this, in the coming hours, we’ll be disabling all accounts that didn’t gain access directly through a Google Play Store invite. This shouldn’t affect any eligibility for future test waves.

The good news is that getting our testing back on track means we’ll soon be able to roll out larger waves of invites to eligible players in Brazil and the Philippines, and we promise to keep you updated when future tests are available in more regions.

Thanks for your patience and your feedback so far, we truly appreciate your time and energy, and we hope to see you on the Rift soon!”

Is your account are now banned from League of Legends Wild Rift?

No, future test will not affect your eligibility from playing the game as mentioned in the announcement. Once your email is white listed from the test, you’ll be able to play the game.

Larger Wave of Invites

The good news is they will also sending larger wave of invites to eligible players in Brazil and Philippines. So make sure to check your email more often.
