Plants Vs Zombies 3 is now Available, First Soft Launch is in the Philippines

Good news to all Plants Vs Zombies fans, the addicting tower defense game Plants Vs Zombie is having its 3rd installment and the first country to try this game is the Philippines. Electronic Arts (EA) decided to soft launch their newest mobile game in the Philippines, with more countries are being added on the list while the worldwide launch has no exact date yet.

Short story, the first installment of Plants Vs. Zombies came out in 2009 in iOS and became of the highest hit game in App Store. Due to its popularity, it is ported to different console devices including the PC that was published by PopCap Games in 2011, a company acquired by EA on the same year. The next installment came in 2013, the Plants Vs Zombies 2. It then follows a game spin off in 2014, the Plant Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, a third-person shooter game that are available on PC, PS4 and XBOX One.

Seven years since its last installment, the game is finally back. The Plants Vs Zombies 3 will have the same classic tower defense game that everyone loves but with new additional features like game bosses, plants, zombies, maps, and an online features. The online features is a social connection that will allow player to play with friends, and a club features where they can chat and donate seeds to help everyone improve in the game.

It is a free-to-play game that anyone can play without spending a dime, with optional micro-transaction that helps player to speed up their progression. It has a Gacha style or loot boxes, in Plants Vs Zombies 3 it is named piñata, where it contains a random shards that are use to obtain new plants or to upgrade the base level. Piñata can be obtained by using its in-game money Diamonds, it can also obtain from the rewards by completing game levels and defeating bosses.

The upgrade feature includes plants and home, it use to boost its stats prior to the game that are needed to unlock and defeat difficult stages. Unlike the classic landscape mode of the game, it is now played in portrait mode similar to PVZ2.

During the soft launch, players in the Philippines can now download the game via Google Play Store and App Store allowing the developer team to gather feedback to make the best game possible. Players in the Philippines can now download the game today.
