What is Victorious Pursuit, Lord Knight Aesir Skill in Ragnarok M Eternal Love (Mobile)

Written by

In one of the Aesir/Rune Monument skills for Lord Knight, there is an interesting skill called Victorious Pursuit. An active skill similar to Bash. Based on its description “Get Victorious Pursuit Skill level +1. Spend 1 layer of Chase to deal (Skill Lv * 150% Dmg) (LUK affects Dmg). Gets 1 layer of Chase every 1 minute. Stacks up to 3 layers.”, it gives your character a one time attack of 150% more damage from normal or crit, it cooldown every 1 minute. The damage is also increase depending on the level of the Victorious Pursuit.

Victorious Pursuit is an Active Skill

Victorious Pursuit is similar to bash but without the stun effect, the damage is also different. Victorious Pursuit can give damage to the enemy up to 450%. It’s 1-minute cooldown can also lessen when acquiring the Hot Pursuit, which reduces 1 second or 3 seconds if attack is critical.

To help everyone know what are these skills are for. We acquire these skills and test it to our Lord Knights. Once you acquire this skill, you need to grab it from the Adventure Skills. Similar to Bash skills, you need to put it on Manual or Auto-Attack slot.

From here, you can now use your newly acquired skills Victorious Pursuit to use it to the monsters. Every 1 minute, you’ll get 1 stack of Chase where you can use it to give one-time damage. It stacks up to 3 layers of Chase.

Benchmarking the Victorious Pursuit

In our test, our normal damage for our Lord Knight to the monsters Alarm is 1031. Using the Victorious Pursuit it gives a one-time attack damage of 3817.

Below we listed the calculation of damage you could get on each level of your Victorious Pursuit, so far the maximum level is up to 3.

Victorious Pursuit LevelNormal DamageDamage of Victorious Pursuit
11,0311,908 (150%)
21,031 3,817 (300%)
31,031 5,725.5 (450%)

There is some additional damage that affects the final damage of Victorious Pursuit, such as Luck and other attributes.

Lessen the Cooldown of Victorious Pursuit

The normal cooldown for Victorious Pursuit is 1 minute, after that, you’ll get additional 1 stack of Chase, up to 3 stacks. To lessen the 1-minute cooldown. You need to acquire the Hot Pursuit from the Aesir/Rune Monument which gives you 1 second quicker or 3 seconds quicker when critical when using the Auto attacks.

If you completed all of the 3 Hot Pursuit, your character has 30% more chance on obtaining the Chase stacks.

If you read this post previously. In the initial posting, we thought the skill is coming from the Victorious Pursuit and was a passive skill, little we knew it was coming from the Muramasa. I’m not sure. I tried to play around with the runes and i can’t get that passive damage increase to work. I can’t even find the Hot Pursuit skill within the Job and Adventure Skills tab after I activate it.

Your damage increase is because of MURAMASA passive skill. please do read the description of Muramasa Passive Skill.
I am not sure also how Victorious Pursuit works. Hopefully somebody who has found out post a comment here.

Thanks for the explanation! Am still not sure if this skill is good for AGI CRIT LK in end game.
The damage output does not seem to be ignoring enemy’s def. Thus, this skill may be good combined with Ignore Defense attribute (i.e from rune and equipment)
