Written by

Predator, an extraterrestrial trophy hunters from the movie Alien Vs. Predator comes as a DLC for the Ghost Recon Wildlands. The included mission on the DLC where you’ll be hunting the Predator that are super hard to eliminate with its ability to randomly spawn at any location and firing its laser guided bomb. This tutorial will helps you some tips on how to eliminate this Predator.

Unlock the Mission

To unlock this mission, you need to go to Caimanes El Cerebro to unlock the bonus mission called The Jungle Moved. Once you’re in the area look for a wounded girl in the jungle and talk to her.

Furthermore on this mission, you will be seeing skinned dead bodies hanging on the trees and you will discover the Alien spaceship crash in the forest. After this part you will be encountering the Predator at any moment. Your mission is to eliminate the predator, but itā€™s not an easy job ā€“ because this predator is pretty stealthy that can hide and appear anywhere in the forest and launch an guided laser bomb that kills you in one shot.

However, doing this on single mode with AI squad is much easier than doing this in coop mode with your friends.

Tips How to Kill The Predator

After several tries to defeat this predator, we finally discovered a technique on how to eliminate this predator. What you only need to do is the following:

  1. You have to find a good cover near the edge of the circle. One of the good spot is on the upper most left corner of the circle where there is a large bamboos and trees on the corner. Find the big rock and use that as your cover.
  2. Once you’re on the edge of the circle, the Predator can no longer spawn at your back allowing you to easily spot and aim for his next spawn location.

You also have to be careful with itā€™s guided missiles, as the Predator will get more difficult when he has hard time finding you. Make sure to immediately shot the predator when it appears.

For single player mode, it is much easier because your AI coop squad can heal you every time you’re hit by the guided missiles.

(Optional) In the spawning area, you may also call rebel for back up.

How many Shots to fired in order to Kill the Predator

You have to shoot the predator a solid 20 to 30 shoots in order to kill the Predator. As the health of the Predator are becoming low, the difficulty is also getting harder.

Preparation When Killing the Predator

If you have coop friend you need to max out your Squad Revive skills, as the predator can easily kill you when youā€™re trying to revive one of your coop friend.

Maxing out the Explosion Resistance also helps, to help you resist explosion behind a cover. Other skills like Stable Aim, Hip Fire Spread and Ammo Capacity should also be max-out.

We will be uploading a YouTube videos for your reference.

Don’t listen to the moaning piece of crap. This mission is fun and exciting. It has the music from the films ffs. Awesome homage to the predator films.

A good mission, thanks. It would be good though to have something lying around that could assist in killing it, say another laser gun in the space craft or somewhere. I have lost count now as to how many times ive died so im going to leave it for a while but good anyway.
