How to Fix PUBG Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Error

In case you have this problem popping up once you open PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) game, you’re not alone – this problem usually occurs when you have missing VC++ 2015 redist installation. Most games required this component in order to play some of it features and you must install both 32bit and the 64bit version of it, even though you’re in Windows 10 64bit. This error also happens on 2013 and 2017 version of Visual C++.

  1. Go to PUBG redist folder, you can find it on steamlibrary\steamapps\common\PUBG\_CommonRedist
  2. Now browse to 2015 folder
  3. Install both vc_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe
  4. Once complete, try opening PUBG and the error will not come up again

    Your fix was just what I needed to be able to launch pubg; I repaired the redist 2013 and 2015 and the game worked fine. The only thing that is happening now is that each time I turn on the PC I have to repair the redist’s again before I can launch the game. Do you have any ideas?

    It doesnt work for me.When i try to install vcredist it just say settup failed.But when i reinstall vcredist 2017 i cant install 2015 but i cant have installed both 2015 and 2017.Help please
