The Egg Heist Challenge in Monster Hunter Outlanders is a stealth-based Field Event that’s simple to understand but requires a bit of patience and careful movement. You’ll usually start this event by finding an NPC named Ruck, who is easy to spot thanks to the large bag he carries.

Once the event begins, your objective is to retrieve an egg from a nest guarded by monsters. Going in aggressively won’t work here, as the challenge is designed around stealth. If you alert the guards, it can make the run more difficult or even force you to reset your approach.

To succeed, you need to move carefully and use the environment to your advantage. The game provides small mechanics like crouching and special bubbles along the path that help you avoid detection and distract enemies.

How to Complete the Egg Heist Challenge
- Find Ruck – Look for the NPC with a large bag to start the event
- Locate the guarded nest – The egg will be inside, protected by monsters
- Crouch to move quietly – Ducking allows you to sneak without alerting enemies
- Use bubbles along the path – These help confuse or distract the guards
- Approach the nest carefully – Avoid getting too close to enemy line of sight
- Pick up the egg – Once safe, grab it from the nest
- Return to Ruck – Bring the egg back to the starting point
- Place it on the tray – Complete the objective near the NPC

Take your time, watch enemy movement, and use distractions properly. Once you get the hang of sneaking and using the bubbles, the Egg Heist Challenge becomes one of the easier Field Events to complete.
