The battle royale game Apex Legends is officially crossing over with the iconic Gundam franchise in a limited-time event launching on March 10, 2026. The collaboration introduces Gundam-themed gameplay elements, cosmetics, and map changes that bring the long-running mecha series into Respawn Entertainment’s shooter.

One of the biggest highlights is a special Wildcard mode where the Broken Moon map is transformed into a battlefield inspired by the Gundam universe. Players can encounter destroyed Mobile Suits across the map and even climb massive Wing Gundam statues while fighting through matches. Care Packages during the event may contain the Buster Rifle, a powerful weapon that allows players to launch into the air, scan enemies, and fire laser blasts that can pierce cover.

The event also introduces new abilities and items inspired by various Gundam units, along with a collection of limited-time cosmetics. Several Apex Legends characters will receive Gundam-inspired skins, matching different mobile suits with specific Legends. Players can earn event rewards through gameplay and unlock themed items in the event shop while the crossover is active.

The Apex Legends x Gundam event will be available across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms. For fans of both franchises, it’s a rare crossover where a fast-paced battle royale meets one of the most iconic mecha universes in gaming and anime.
