The Dreamville 2.0 update is the biggest Once Human has ever seen bringing new scenarios, a full class system, and massive quality-of-life upgrades. Whether you’re returning or starting fresh, this guide covers everything you need to get ahead fast.

Returning Players: Use Transit Storage
If you’re coming back, visit Eternal Lands before jumping into a new scenario. Open your inventory and use Transit Storage to withdraw gear, tools, and deviations from your last run. Bring useful items like chainsaws, drills, and healing deviations like Festering Gel to make your early game easier.

Best Scenario to Start With
Choose Endless Dream — it gives full map access and is great for both beginners and veterans. Avoid Raid Zone if you’re playing solo; it’s heavy on PvP. Stick to PvE scenarios like Manus or Evolution Call if you want a more relaxed experience.

Best Spawn Point
Pick Meyer’s Market when selecting a spawn area. It’s close to towns, crops, fishing, and lots of POIs (Points of Interest), making it the best starting area for fast progression.

New Class System
You’ll choose a class after the tutorial. Here are your best options:
- Beastmaster: Summon animals to fight and gather for you
- Chef: Create powerful food buffs (great for PvP and survivability)
- Gardener: Grow mutated crops and manage advanced farming If you’re unsure, choose Free Person so you can pick a class later.

Level Up Fast with Commissions
Do Commissions. These are quick missions like chopping trees, gathering ore, and crafting ammo — they give tons of XP and currency early on.

Build Near Teleport Towers
When placing your base, find a Teleportation Tower nearby. This gives you quick access to your home and makes exploring the world much easier. Unlock basic Mamatics like furnaces and workbenches right away.

Best Early Weapon & Gear
Craft the Rustic Crossbow — it’s cheap, powerful, and uses arrows you can pick up again. Focus on gear sets like:
- Lone Wolf: Crit rate and stamina buffs
- Blackstone: Boosts elemental damage
- Renegade: Better reload and weak spot damage Mix 4 set pieces with 1 key item and 1 extra piece for the best combo.

Use and Upgrade Mods
Mods can increase damage, reload speed, and survivability. Salvage duplicates for parts and enhance good ones. Farm Monoliths and POIs for the best mods.

Best Deviations to Bring
Important ones to bring into new scenarios:
- Festering Gel: Heals and shields you in combat
- Digby Boy and Logging Beaver: Farm while you’re offline
- Electric Eel: Generates power for your base Farm them in early dungeons like Monolith of Greed.
Boost Power with Cradle Overrides
As you level, unlock Cradle Override perks — passive boosts like +15% damage after reload. These give your build a huge edge. Complete Securement Silos and bosses to unlock more slots.
