Eyedentity Games has officially introduced one of the franchise’s most iconic and beloved classes, the Academic, to the PC MMORPG’s classic server. First debuting in the original Dragon Nest, the Academic has long been a community favorite, a fact reaffirmed by the overwhelming response of more than 100,000 pre-registrations ahead of her comeback.
A Time-Traveling Heroine With a Unique Story
Known for its immersive storytelling, Dragon Nest Classic continues to shine with the Academic’s arrival. Unlike the game’s four original classes, she brings a special narrative arc, a genius girl from the future who travels back in time to save the world. As her story unfolds, players will uncover the mystery behind her true identity.

Small in Stature, Big in Firepower
Despite her petite and adorable appearance, the Academic is no ordinary adventurer. A prodigy in engineering and alchemy, she wields heavy artillery such as cannons and synthesis gauntlets for devastating ranged attacks. Upon reaching her first job advancement, players can choose between:
- Engineer – Specializing in explosive mechanical firepower
- Alchemist – Offering support skills rooted in the powers of alchemy
Launch Events and Free Rewards
To celebrate her release, Dragon Nest Classic has lined up a variety of special events:
- Academic Creation Bonus – Players who create an Academic character will receive abundant growth materials to level up quickly.
- Limited-Time Quest – Complete special missions to earn exclusive items, including the new Space Pirates wing/tail/decal set and a custom Academic costume, all for free.
Community Contests
