The highly anticipated Nian 2025 Event has arrived in Ragnarok X: Next Generation! Although it revisits the structure of previous years’ events, this year’s edition—dubbed “Celebrate New Spring”—brings fresh rewards and stylish updates that set it apart from its predecessors. It is a 14-days event, which will starts from January 23 up to February 5, 2025.
This guide will walk you through the event details, schedules, and rewards so you don’t miss a thing!
You can now exchange the Year of the Snake Surprise Voucher
For those who get the Year of the Snake Surprise Voucher, you can now exchange it for random crystals.
Event Costume

Event 1: Spring Festival Gifts (Daily Login)
Simply log in daily for seven days to claim rewards. The rewards for completing each day are as follows:
- Day 1: Adv. Enchantment Selection Pack
- Day 2: New Year Gift Box
- Day 3: Mission Order
- Day 4: Adv. Upgrade Selection Pack II
- Day 5: Flaming Gacha Coin Selection Pack
- Day 6: Mission Order
- Day 7: Spring Festival Face Selection Pack
Event 2: Nian Siege
From 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM (Manila Time), mini Nian monsters will appear in random cities for an hour per session. The event follows this schedule:

Participating in this event allows you to earn rewards based on your Contribution Points. You’ll also be able to received a 
New Year Gift Box by chance when you eliminate the Baby Nian with a daily limit of 20.
You can earn points as follows:
- 30 Contribution Points for defeating a Nian monster.
- 300 Contribution Points for defeating a Phantom Nian.
Here’s a breakdown of the rewards based on your total Contribution Points:

- 1,500 – Mission Order
Additionally, you’ll receive event items that boost your damage against Nian from server based reward progression (You’ll also get 2 x Sky Companion Badge) once you’ve claimed the server reward:
- 30% – Firecrackers
- 60% – Fireworks
- 100% – Richer and Richer

Event 3: Nian Invasion
At specific times, the MVP Nian monster will emerge in Payon cities. Join this boss hunt to get an opportunity to get exclusive and rare rewards.
Event 4: New Year’s Thanks
This event kicks off on Lunar New Year, requiring you to enter a special keyword in the world chat to claim your reward. The keyword is “Dragon Soars Away, Serpent Brings Fortune”.
Aside from these greeting rewards, there is also a daily and cumulative quest wherein you can get additional gift boxes to have a chance to get the event mount.

However, only 1,000 Coins the adventurer can only collect for all of the free-to-play quest. The other 500 must be get by topping up or purchasing the glory passes.
Event 5: Burn Odin Blessing
During the event, burning Odin Blessing will allow you to get the event materials. You need to burn atleast 1,000 to 1,500 
Odin Blessings to fully get all of the rewards.

At the end of the event, you should get a total of 350 Serpent Mask and 14 Flawless Serpent Mask and must spent atleast 14,000 to 21,000 Odin Blessings.
Event 6: Extra Mission Board Rewards
Completing the daily mission board will allow you to unlock an special mission wherein you’ll also received the event materials.
You just need to complete the wave of 10 in this special mission and you should able to get the extra rewards which is:

The Serpent Fang can be used against MVP Nian to deal more damage during the Event 3: Nian Invasion.
Event 7: Spring Rewards
During the event, take advantage of these exciting bonuses:
- Consuming Odin Blessing will grant 5x Serpent Marks (up to 5 times a day).
- Complete the daily mission board to unlock a Special Mission and earn additional rewards.
As the New Year arrives, even more bonuses will be activated:
- Double Zeny/EXP bonuses will be available on January 29, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Manila Time).
- Receive a Snake Diamond Red Envelope for every Diamond purchase, which can be redeemed starting January 29.
