A PLUS JAPAN INC, the publisher of the popular RPG mobile game Street Fighter™: Duel in collaboration with CAPCOM, has officially announced an exciting new event in partnership with Street Fighter™ 6. The event, titled Security Training, will run from August 27 to September 9, 2024, featuring the addition of Street Fighter™ 6’s Luke Sullivan as a playable character.
Luke Sullivan Joins the Roster
Luke Sullivan, a fan-favorite character from Street Fighter™ 6, is stepping into the ring in Street Fighter™: Duel. Formerly trained in the Special Forces, Luke now works as a private military contractor (PMC) and also teaches mixed martial arts in his downtime. Known for his fierce determination, Luke balances his love for gaming and snacking with a passion for fighting, making him a force to be reckoned with in the game.
In Street Fighter™: Duel, Luke is classified as a “Balanced” fighter within the “Master Faction” and specializes in the “Power” fighting style. Players can strategically utilize Luke’s powerful “Vulcan Blast” ability to turn the tide of battle and secure victory.
Event Highlights: Challenges, Boss Battles, and Rewards
The Security Training event offers players an array of challenges and rewards. Luke will significantly boost the entire team’s strength, making him an invaluable asset in battle. Players can collect “Flaming Gloves” by participating in special event battles and exchange them for valuable resources and items within the game’s “Coaching Supplies” section.
The event will also feature a Boss Challenge mode, where players face off against iconic bosses including Combat Guile, Decapre, Mech Seth, and Feilong. Achieving certain damage thresholds against these bosses will unlock exclusive achievement rewards.
Additional modes like Martial Training, Professional Coaching, Battlelust Manuals, Coaching Gift, and Limited-Time Wishes will be available throughout the event, offering even more opportunities for players to train with Luke and enhance their gameplay experience.
