Com2uS “Chronicles x Evangelion” Collaboration Update ReleasedFour Evangelion Pilots Added to the Game

Com2uS (CEO Jae-kwan Nam) has released a collaboration update with the world-renowned animation “Evangelion” for its summoning RPG “Summoners War: Chronicles (hereinafter referred to as Chronicles)”.

“Neon Genesis Evangelion” is a TV series animation that aired in 1995 which was very popular not only in Japan but also around the world and it’s an IP representing famous animator Hideaki Anno. The four parts of “Rebuild of Evangelion” were released sequentially from 2007 to 2021, which Hideaki Anno directed personally for planning, writing, and general directing, drawing passionate support from existing fans as well as creating new fan bases.

As part of this collaboration, the four pilots of “Evangelion”, “Shinji”, “Rei”, “Asuka”, and “Mari”, will appear as Monsters in Chronicles. Unit-01’s pilot “Shinji” is a warrior-type Monster with Water and Dark attributes, Unit-00’s pilot “Rei” is a knight-type Monster with Wind and Light attributes, “Asuka” is an assassin-type Monster with Fire and Dark attributes, and “Mari” is an archer-type Monster with Fire and Light attributes.

Each collaboration character combines the visuals of the original animation “Evangelion” and the unique combat characteristics of Chronicles. Rei can use the “A.T. Field” Skill to nullify skill attacks of the target with a certain chance to protect the allies and Mari uses the “Pallet Rifle” and is able to use ammunition to perform powerful attacks. The four Monsters can be obtained by using Mystical Scrolls, Crystals, and collaboration-exclusive summoning scrolls, and users can also summon the Monster with a guaranteed chance when the summon mileage is reached.

Various events will be held until August 10th to celebrate the release of the collaboration. First, the “Ready for Battle! Stop the Angel Invasion!” Event will be held where users can use the event currency, “Energy Coins”, to stop the Angel’s invasion that attacked the world of Chronicles and earn rewards. “Energy Coins” can be obtained through gameplay, and users will be able to get materials required for enhancing Monsters by defeating a total of 3 types of Angels.

In addition, “Battle with the Pilots from the Rift!” Event will also be held, where users can clear dungeons with Evangelion collaboration Monsters and earn rewards. Users will be able to get rewards such as various scrolls and Artifact Seals when they enter dungeons with the collaboration Monsters. Users will also be able to borrow collaboration Monsters to use. When users summon the collaboration Monsters, they’ll be able to participate in the “Encountering the Pilots from the Rift” Event as well.

Additionally, the White Night Summon will be held until August 7th, where users can obtain the 5-star Light Nine-tailed Fox and Dark Occult Girl. Two new Monster stories will also be added to the “Joshua’s Bookshelf”, where users can read special stories of Monsters. Amazon’s exclusive legendary Artifact will also be released.
