How to Complete Collect Aaron’s Gem in Ragnarok Origin (ROO Guide)

Written by

In the world of Ragnarok Origin (ROO), players often find themselves immersed in a vast array of quests and challenges. While many of these tasks can be easily completed using the game’s auto-quest feature, there are some that require a more hands-on approach. One such quest, which has left many players stumped, is the mission in the Sograt Desert, where the objective is to collect Aaron’s gem. In this article, we’ll provide a step-by-step guide to help you navigate this tricky quest and successfully retrieve the elusive gem.

At first glance, the quest appears straightforward: retrieve Aaron’s gem from the Purple Magic Circle. However, the additional instructions – activate the rune and change the color of the rune above your head to purple using color combination – have left many players puzzled, especially those who rely on the game’s auto-quest feature.

How to Complete Aaron’s Gem Quest

Step 1: Locate the Three Rune Gems

To complete the quest, you first need to find the three Rune – Green, Red, and Blue – located near the spawn area. The quest’s objective hints at the color purple, which is a combination of red and blue in real life.

Step 2: Activate the Red Rune

To begin the color-changing process, activate the Red Rune. If there is already a color above your character’s head, continue to activate the Red Rune until the rune color above your head changes to red.

Step 3: Activate the Blue Rune

With the red rune activated above your head, it’s time to add the blue color. Activate the Blue Rune, and the rune color above your head should now turn purple – the desired color to unlock the Purple Magic Circle.

Step 4: Retrieve Aaron’s Gem

With the rune color above your head successfully changed to purple, you can now approach the Purple Magic Circle portal. Enter the portal and retrieve Aaron’s gem to complete the quest.
