Valentine’s Event: Love Astrology Guide in Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX)

The new Valentines Event for 2023 is finally here in Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX)! Celebrating the month of love, adventurers can now enjoy the new event where they have to find a partner to complete the whole event quests. This is similar to previous event Sea of Stars and Shining Stars event, this time there is some little tweak especially the rewards.

In this guide, we will walkthrough you all of the process of completing the whole event and give you some insight for free-to-play players if you can get the costumes and event material calculations.

Event 2: Gacha	You need 42,900 Energy to get the event mount. It is guaranteed to obtained after 300 gacha/praying pull. You and your partner must spend each a total of 32,000 Odin Blessings (4K Odin per day for 8 days) to reach the required 42,900 Energy. Important: You must not spent Sigil Bone Fragment on Gacha if you want to get the headgear at the event material exchange. Please check the separate computation. Event 3: Event Material Exchange	You can exchange the event materials you obtained for event-exclusive headgear and some progress materials. You basically need the rarest item Sigil Bone Fragment to get the highlight rewards. Based on our calculation: – 160 Odin = 1 Sigil Bone Fragment. Event 4: Odin Burn	The odin burning for Valentines event has no capped. Meaning you can get event materials without limit as long as you have Odin Blessings. Here are the estimate materials you can get for 4,000 Odin Blessings: – 1,202 Divination Cards – 434 Black Feather – 95 Spiritual Seed – 26 Sigil Bone Fragment Large, Medium and Small gives yield the same result based on our test simulation. Event 1: Partner Quest (Divination Ceremony)

For the first event, the Partner quest or Divination Ceremony is you have to find a partner to complete this quest event (Just make sure to request to a partner that are willing to complete it because once accepted it, is impossible to remove or replace your partner).

As for the scoring, you and your partner need to reach 2,099 points to get all of the rewards. The scoring system is shared to both of your partner, meaning every time you or your partner earns a point, it will be contributed to both of your Current Points. For example, the first quest “Log in daily 2/2 times in total”, once the 3 points is claimed – it will be 6 points for both of your current point progress. This is the same as to the number of required objectives in the quests.

UPDATE as of 02/13/2023: We miscalculate the F2P quest points only deducting the solo partner quest for Diamond quests. F2P should only get 1,320 Destiny Shard, not 1,802 Destiny Shard.

Unfortunately, free-to-play (f2p) players are not able to obtain the costume set as you will need an extra 779 Destiny Shard (points), which can only be obtained by topping up a total of 75,000 Diamonds to get an extra 590 Destiny Shard (points) for both partner and you must complete the Diamond Exchange Center transaction quest to get the remaining 189 Destiny Shard (points).

To reach that goal with your partner, one of you must top up 26,000 Diamonds (PHP 2,490) and the other partner must top up 50,000 Diamonds (PHP 4,990). Or find a rich partner that can directly top-up 75,000 Diamonds.

Ragnarok X also tends to give this costume on the next partner event similar to Astronaut costume (Cross fingers) which is now available in this event at the event exchange materials.

Event 2: Gacha (Love Divination)

There is also a gacha event where you need a material (You can obtain by burning your Odin blessings) or using a 500,000 Zeny for (1 Energy = Praying pull). You will also share the same recharge progress for your partner.

You need at least 60 Energy to pray in the gacha. And the highlight rewards which is the mount can be guaranteed get at 300 Praying pull. Here is the cost of energy per pull:

If you exceed 301, you need 300 Energy per praying pull. You basically need 42,900 Energy to get the mount. However, the praying progress can be shared between you and your partner which means each of you will only require to get 21,450 each. Here are the items you can convert per materials:

According to our simulator test, 4,000 Odin blessings allows you to yield 2,795 Energy from the following event materials:

• 26 Sigil Bone Fragment (250 Energy)
• TOTAL (2,795 Energy)

Since the Gacha event progress can be shared with your partner, each partner will only require obtaining 21,450 Energy. Which means, you must burn 32,000 Odin Blessing to get the following:

• 9,616 Divination Cards (9,616 Energy)
• 3,472 Black Feather (6,944 Energy)
• 760 Spiritual Seed (3,800 Energy)
• 208 Sigil Bone Fragment (2,080 Energy)

By burning 32,000 Odin Blessing for each partner, you can get a total of 44,880 Energy which is enough to get the event mount. That is burning 4,000 Odin for 8 days straight.

But what if, you don’t want to spend 300 Sigil Bone Fragment and 100 Spiritual Seed on Gacha because you want to get the event headgear at the event exchange materials. You need to spend another 8K Odin Blessing to do that, a total of 40,000 Odin Blessings to get the following:

• 4,315 Black Feather (8,630 Energy) — 50 Black Feather removed for headgear
• 850 Spiritual Seed (4,250 Energy) — 100 Spiritual removed for headgear

You still have 40 Sigil remaining to grind, that is another 6K Odin Blessings.

As for using the 50 million zeny, just add 1,000 Energy (100 Energy per day for 10 days) to the calculation.

Event 3: Event Material Exchange (Destiny Store)

Aside from the Gacha above, you can also exchange those event materials without testing your luck. Here are the items you can exchange:

The rarest event material in the event is the Sigil Bone Fragment. Based on our test, you can only get up to 26pcs of it by burning 4,000 Odin Blessing. For you to get the event headgear, you must burn up to 48,000 Odin Blessing to get 312pcs of Sigil Bone Fragment.

To make it easier to understand, an average of 160 Odin = 1 Sigil Bone Fragment.

Event 4: Odin Burn (Odin’s Secret Words)

As for the Odin Burn event, there is no longer the Small, Medium, and Large monster bug as the chances of getting materials will be proportion to all monsters. However, it is still best to loot event materials from small monsters as they tend to drop more event materials – just make sure to do it solo and do not do party as it will reduce the chances.

The good news is there is also no capped for Odin burning, which means it is possible to get the event mount for this event as well as some of the exchange costumes.
