Coinciding with the 20th anniversary release of Ragnarok Online (RO) in Southeast Asia (SEA), Gravity Game Hub Pte., Ltd, a subsidiary of Gravity Co., Ltd., has announced the release of their sequel, Ragnarok Origin, for the South East Asia region.
Ragnarok Origin was released in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau in September 2022. The game service was a highly recommended game by Apple and Google and achieved the No.1 top free game in both stores. Ragnarok Origin continued to dominate the Top Free Games ranking chart for a further 60 days as it was well received and enjoyed by players in these 3 regions.
Upcoming, Ragnarok Origin will descend in South East Asia with further enhancements to the game for the players in SEA region. The developers have prepared a wide variety of amazing online rewards, offline rewards, and specially designed in-game events for the players to celebrate the launch of the game. This is to let our RO adventurers have an epic adventure and journey.
Ragnarok Origin retains many of the fan-favorite aspects of its Ragnarok Online game, including the beloved art style, awesome soundtracks, cute pets, crafting system, gameplay, and much more for players to experience, bringing back the nostalgic feel.
The game preserves the same magical flavor of RO while also optimizing classic scenes, characters and monsters, bringing new intriguing visuals. They have also released a new trailer, presenting a new, yet familiar Midgard through the perspective of a Poring.
The pre-registration for Ragnarok Origin will be available soon and with many in-game showcase footage to be released upcoming on their social media channels. Ragnarok Origin will be available for download on Google Play, Apple App Store, Huawei AppGallery, and PC.
