The Game Awards is an annual event that celebrates the best of the video game industry and the most prestigious award show for video games in the world. This year, the event took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 9. It was hosted by Geoff Keighley, creator and producer of The Game Awards.
The awards show was livestreamed on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube Gaming and Steam. On Steam, they even giving away their Steam Deck device every minute of the show. There were several world premieres of new games like STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor, DUNE: The Awakening and Death Stranding 2.
