Event Costumes

The event also features several outfits that you can obtained through Chessboard, Trial, Gacha and Exchange Shop.

Here’s where to get these costumes:

Collaboration Instance Quest

The first thing you need to do in the Demon Slayer event is the event exclusive instance quest. You can unlock this special quest by completing the 10 times daily mission board.

The mechanics to the event is simple, there will be 30 waves of monster in total. In each 3 waves, there will be a Demon that has unbreakable shield, no matter you attack it won’t deal any damage. Make sure to read the notice that will appear. Such as “The Demon in the Temple with Earth Attribute Shield appears. Summon Hinokami Tanjiro Kamado to break the shield”, basically you have to summon the hero it mentioned to help you deal damage to the monster. However, it is confusing which Tanjiro the notice is talking about because we have two Tanjiro.

Here are the right one to summon:

For Fire Shield – Tanjiro Kamado (1st Hero)
For Water Shield – Zenitsu Agatsuma (2nd Hero)
For Wind Shield – Inosuke Hashibira (3rd Hero)
For Earth Shield – Hinokami Tanjiro Kamado (4th Hero)

When you die on the instance, you will automatically exit it and received your final result and the rewards you obtained. S+ score is the highest while C is the lowest.

Based on our calculation, free-to-play and easy to get quest from the Quest, you can only get up to 143 Chessboard Investigation for the 14-day quest and 58 Chessboard Investigation for the f2p friendly and easy to get quest. Translating to 200 Chessboard Investigation means up to 8 Phase reward.

All in all, including paying players quests, you can get up to 343 Chessboard Investigation means up to 13 Phase rewards more than enough to complete the Chessboard quests.

Chessboard

After completing the quest above, you can use the Chessboard Investigation points to roll a mark on the Chessboard like a Tik-tac-toe. When you form a line either horizontally, vertically or diagonally you’ll get the equivalent rewards for that line.

Once you have completed the chessboard, you will get an investigation phase. Each investigation phase has different rewards. Each Phases you unlock will also reward you the following:

Since free-to-play friendly players only has 200 Chessboard Investigation, the maximum phases you can reach is only up to 8 Phases only. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get the costume set from the Chessboard rewards without topping up or luck in Gacha.

Trial

For the trial, you’ll receive a reward by reaching the amount of Trial EXP you have accumulated across the event. Accumulating the EXP will allow you to earn milestone rewards, and you can reach a maximum of 6,000 total EXP.

Below you’ll find where you can get your hands on a Trial EXP.

How to get More Trial EXP

To get the most out of the Trial EXP, you can earn it in 3 ways:

Trial EXP Pack – These EXP packs contain 20-40 EXP, you can get them from Odin Blessings by hunting mobs or by hunting MVP/Mini. Members of our guild were able to obtain these EXP packs 3-5 times via Odin Blessing mobs, but after that, they no longer received them. The MVP/Mini however requires participation points to randomly get the pack up to 3 times. In our observation, the maximum Trial EXP Pack you can get per day is up to 5 only.
Burn Odin Blessing – Every time you burn Odin on mobs, you’ll get them up to 100 Trial EXP.
Trial Supply – You can also obtain Trial EXP by purchasing it with Diamonds for 14,999 Dias and 8,888 Dias. However, the description is misleading, you can only get up to 1,450 Trial EXP from the Daily Supply Pack in the span of 14 days. While for Trial Supply Pack, you immediately get 2,000 Trial EXP plus the total of 1,450 Trial EXP on the daily supply.
Chessboard – Some rewards on the chessboard also include 10 x Trial EXP. In our case, there are 5 of them on phase 1. If you completed all 12 phases, you could get a total of 600 Trial EXP from the grid rewards only and an additional of 1,600 Trial EXP from the 12 phase rewards. In total, you can get up to 2,100 Trial EXP from the Chessboard.

How many Trial milestones you can reach without Topping up?

The maximum Trial EXP pack you can get daily is 5pcs (For both mobs kill with Odin and MVP/Mini). Each of these packs contains from 20 Trial EXP to 40 Trial EXP. Let’s say you are too lucky and able to get 40 Trial EXP each time, you’ll be able to collect 200 Trial EXP from the Trial EXP pack.

Now, on the Odin burn through mobs kill, you will only get at a maximum of 100 Trial EXP per day.

Summing, you’ll get 300 Trial EXP every day (Again, if you are lucky getting the maximum Trial EXP Pack). Since the event will only last for 14 days, the trial EXP you can reach is up to 4,000 Trial EXP.

For the chessboard, the maximum phase you can get if you are unlucky with Gacha and if you are free-to-play player is Phase 5 rewards. The total Trial EXP from Phase 1 to Phase 5 is 820 Trial EXP.

All in all, you can get up to 4,820 Trial EXP.

If you go for the Trial Supply Pack (14,999 Dias), you can collect up to 8,270 Trial EXP. While the Daily Supply Pack (8,888 Dias), you can reach up to 6,270 Trial EXP.

Treasure

As for the treasure, you need to shell out 1,499 Diamonds to roll for a chance to get the limited item Demony Slayer actions and gacha coin.

However, most of the mats you can get here are somehow worth it for 1,499 Diamonds or 19,500 Crystals. We recommend doing this if you have plenty of Crystals for character progression and if your goal is to get the exclusive-event action. Listed below are the pool items:

Gacha

There will be a new gacha machine found on the Prontera dedicated for the event.

Unfortunately, the chances of getting the cards are too low. Gold cards are below 0.8% chance and Blue cards are at 2% chances. The other 97.1% are not that useful material except for Alloy Pickaxe. This means, out of 20,000 ROX players, only 400 will be able to get a card.

Since the chances are very low, make sure to collect more coins and draw it 10 times instead of 1 roll. (Thank you to our guild member Gupeng for advising this one).

What to Prioritize	Details
Collaboration Instance Quest	Complete the 10 times daily mission board to unlock the event instance. There are 30 waves in total, each 3 waves you will face a Demon monster with unbreakable shield. To break the shield, you need to summon the right hero based on the notice. Treasure	Requires 1,499 Diamonds and 13,500 Diamonds to roll to get event-exclusive action and items. The other mats on the pool are somehow worth it for 1,499 Diamonds or 19,500 Crystals. Crystal value of items in the pool are from 17,100 Crystals to 75,600 Crystals. We received reports from players that most item they from the Treasure are Alloy Pickaxe.
Gacha	New event gacha machine that features event characters with chances of below 2%. This means, out of 20,000 ROX players, only 400 will be able to get a card. You need a Collab Gacha Coin to roll, and you can get this coin from: – Treasure – Collaboration Instance Quest
