Songkran Festival Guide in Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX)

The Songkran Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Bangkok, Thailand. This year, Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX) is hosting its own in-game festival to celebrate the event. Players will be able to participate in a variety of quests and minigames to earn rewards such as; a quest where players can throw waters against player using a water guns and burning Odin Blessings to get materials for the event.

In the event there are five quests, we will describe each one to help you complete it. The event will run from April 12 to April 22, 2022 and the exchange shop will close until April 28.

Update as of 04/15/2022: The event has been extended for 2 more days which means more rewards for daily quest.

Travel around Bangkok (Daily Quest)

In the Bangkok Adventure, adventurer need a fuel to visit 6 attractions and each of them has a reward to claim. To get a fuel, adventurers has to complete the daily quest (7 quest) that will refresh every day and cumulative quest (6 quest) that changes its objective once it reach the goal.

You need a total of 10,000 Fuel to get the costume reward Super Shooter Water Gun.

Daily Quest

The Daily quest will give you a total of 700 Fuel per day and since this is a 10 day quest, players can get up to 7,000 Fuel throughout the whole duration. The event has been extended for 2 more days, so the new total fuel for daily quest is 8,400 Fuel.

The event requires 10,000 Fuel to complete the travel progress, since we already have 7K fuel from the daily quest.

Cumulative Quest

The other Fuel can be get through the cumulative quest wherein you can get a total of 8,000 Fuel. Below you can find the maximum mats you can obtained, note that ??? means replace it with progress and rewards respectively, x means nothing.

In overall total, you can get up to 16,400 Fuel for both Daily and Cumulative quest. The Fuel that are locked from top-up are just 4,000 Fuel which means you can get the ultimate reward without topping up. While for the Clean Water that you need for the Battle Rank, you can get up to 3,000 Clean Water and half of it are from top-up.

How to Share the Event

In the daily quest, there is a share the event quest and it is unclear where and how to share it. Due to poor user interface, the button for the share button is hidden on the other side of the page at the Travel Progress.

Just tap the Travel Progress button and you’ll switch to the Map. There is a LINE and Facebook button on the left bottom corner where you can tap and share the event.

How to Water Gun Battle

In Water Gun Battle, you need to form a party of 3 members. It is a 3v3 PVP mode that will last for 3 minutes. It has an Auto Match where you can fight other player in an arena.

For those who received a “Not a Water Gun Battle Team.” error message, you need to change the Party settings to Promoted > Songkran Festival > Water Gun Battle.

Players will equipped with a Water Cannon and can shoot a water bomb to a specific direction to inflick a soak effect to the hit target. If the opponent is fully soaked, they will be trapped inside a water bubble where they cannot move. To rescue the member, player has to go beside the player and tap the rescue button.

To eliminate the opponent, all they have to do is to pop out the trapped enemy in the water bubble.

There are also buff player can use:

• Super Water Balloon: Selects an area to inflict Soak on all enemies in range for a period of time.
• Pressure Boost Valve: Reduces water bomb cooldown times for a period of time.
• Water Balloon: A weaker version of Super Water balloon.
• Energy Drink: Increases Movement Speed for a period of time, and continuously reduces Soak.

Water Gun Battle Ranking Board (Battle Reward)

Players who were able to reach the top 100 will be rewarded with prizes such as a mount, costumes and a title. So Goodluck on reaching the top ranking, but seriously rank 3 has better reward. Here are the list of rewards.

Everyone might not happy with the Water Gun Battle Ranking as it is not based on wins. But it is based on how many Clean Water you collected from the game and most of it are coming from top-up which is unfortunately for whales. You can get as much as 1,500 Clean water when topping up 390,000 Diamonds.

To get more Clean Water, you can get 50pcs of it from the Ganesha Gift Pack which can be obtained by exchanging Mystic water through burning Odin Blessing, chances to get Mystic water is up to 0.3%.
