The popular battle royale game, Rules of Survival (ROS), is shutting down. The news comes from the official Rules of Survival facebook page, which thanked players for their support and love towards the game with the date it ceases its operation. This news is sure to disappoint the many gamers who have enjoyed playing the game.
Rules of Survival is a battle royale game that was developed by NetEase Games and released in November 2017 as beta. It quickly became popular, with 230 million players worldwide by October 2018. However, in recent years, the game has become unpopular due to many issues. One such issue is the rampant cheating, which players use unauthorized software to gain an unfair advantage over other players, making it less fun for everyone involved and ruin the competitive balance of the game.
ROS Players who are still playing the game can continue to do so until June 27, 2022, after which all account data and character information will be deleted. For ROS players who still have diamonds in their account, refunds will be available after the game closes on June 28.
