The much-anticipated Ni no Kuni video game series, co-produced by the world-renowned Studio Ghibli, is finally coming to mobile devices in the form of an MMORPG titled Ni no Kuni: Crossworld! The producer of the game Netmarble and Level-5 have announced that pre-registration for the game is now open for Android and iOS devices. The game, which was initially released in Japan and other Asian parts, is set to be available for all regions in English.

In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, you’ll enter a brand-new world of virtual reality called Soul Divers. As you explore, you’ll find out that the world isn’t really virtual – and that a mysterious girl named Rania has entrusted you with a mission: to rebuild her kingdom and save both worlds from destruction.
You can choose from five different characters, each with unique abilities. There’s the adorable sharpshooter Engineer, the giant warrior destroyer, the heroic fencer swordsman, the beautiful magician witch, and the playful archer rogue. You can travel the world with any of these characters to match your playstyle. In addition, the game features a pet system called Familiars in which players can collect creatures and send them on adventures for extra rewards.
