Did you know that in Ragnarok X Next Generation, aside from talking to the NPCs for their basic task and offers, you can actually present them some gifts? In exchange they will reward you some extra privileges when you reach a certain level of intimacy with them. However, you need to reach a certain condition in order for you to activate the gifting to the NPC. But eventually, it will be unlocked on their own as you adventure in the game.

You can gift the NPCs with any materials you have, but they have their favorite gift item that they like most and in exchange, the intimacy points that you will get will increase by folds.
But if you really wanted to unlock them ahead of time and know their favorite gifts. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock each of these NPC gifting and their favorite foods.
Check NPC Gifting Progress
You can check your NPC Gifting progress by going to your Academy Handbook, then open the NPCs tab.
From here, you’ll find all of the list and the amount of progress you have with the NPCs. You can also claim here all of the rewards you get from the NPC.
How to unlock and gift NPC Favors
You need to complete specific condition for you to gift the NPC, we have listed these condition below.
Once you have completed the condition, you’ll get a notification you have have unlock the favor to the NPC. From here, the Gift icon will appear every time you talk to the NPC.
Then click Gift button at the message box near the NPC’s avatar.
Then you can gift any item to the NPC, the progress will significantly increase when you give their favorite gift.
Updates
[UPDATE as of 02/18/2022] – Ragnarok X Next Generation finally releases the level 15 caps for Enchantment. Together with that, favor gift for every enchantment NPC in all cities are now giftable, you can now unlock their favors by enchanting 50 times. We have updated the list to reflect the new changes, enjoy gaming!

All of NPC listed has a common favor rewards when you reach certain intimacy levels:
- 20%: Adventure Experience +1
- 50%: Adventure Experience +2
- 100%: Adventure Experience +5
NPC Enchantment Buff Weekly Quest
For all unlocked NPC enchantment favor, here are the two buffs you can get from the Weekly Favor Quests:
Magic Perception – Grants a chance of conserving enchantment items when enchanting. (Disappears after taking effect 3 times.)
Magic Surge – Grants a slightly higher chance of leveling up equipment when enchanting. (Disappears after taking effect 3 times.)
Aside from the enchantment buff, you also need to gather items to complete the weekly quest.
Gifting NPC for Kingdom Pass Quest Tips
Attention to everyone, since the number of NPCs you can gift is limited, and this was recently added as part of the daily quest for Kingdom Pass. Eventually, you will complete all of the available NPC gifting and reached the 100% favor. When this happens, there will no longer be any NPCs to gift.
To avoid this scenario, you should select a single NPC from the list dedicated for the Kingdom Pass quest and send him/her the gift he/she dislikes. This way, the favor level will remain below 100%, allowing you to still gift every day for the daily KP quest.

Hi Sans, it means there is no additional rewards you’ll get when you reach their 20,50,100 intimacy (Except for the adventurer EXP). The ??? is not yet discovered..
