GIGABYTE announced a new SSD in their storage lineup, and its an external SSD storage. A lightweight and portable storage device than utilize the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface via USB-C. The promised read and write speed of this device is up to 2,000MB/s or even higher.
Under the hood, the Vision Drive 1TB External SSD contains an M.2 SSD with a cooling mechanism in place to get that faster speed, a venting hole, rubber foot, standalone nanocarbon heat spreader and a high conductivity thermal pad. It can also withstand accidental drops of up to 1.22 m which was passed the military-grade reliability test MIL-STD-810G 516.6.
A CrystalDiskMark benchmark also shows the read and write speed of the storage device.
