The Chinese Lunar New Year is coming and Ragnarok M Eternal Love has a surprise for everyone. They just released a new event that players can play in the month of January, February and March, the 2020 Appreciation Event, a Lunar New Year Event.
At this event, it also mentioned Valentine’s day event where the couple players get a chance to get a wedding for 50% off. Also, an event dedicated to players who have didn’t sign-in to the game to catch up for an exciting welcome-back reward.

Event 1 – Year Beast Battle
From January 24 to January 30, 2020, players will have a chance to enter the Year Beast Battle Event Instance. You can enter this dungeon from 8:50 PM to 9:00 PM by going to the Prontera South Gate and find the Teleport NPC.
Year Beast Battle Event
During this dungeon, all players in the dungeon need to eliminate 400 x Baby Year beast, it will appear in 4 waves, once the wave is done, it will summon the Messenger Year Beast. Eliminating 20 x Messenger Year Beast will also summon the final boss Year Beast.
Rewards:
- Eliminate 1 x Baby Year Beast to get 30 x New Year Firecrackers
- Eliminate 1 x Messenger Year Beast to get 300 x New Year Firecrackers and some MVP Materials.
- When the final boss Year Beast lose 20% of its HP, a lot of loot will be around him, including MVP Materials, Mora Coins, Oracle Dust, Oracle Crystal, Beast Face Blueprint.
- Eliminate the 1 x Year Beast to get random amount of Beast Face Blueprint and Year Beast Emblem loot.
Year Beast Emblem can be exchange to get Year Beast Baby Monster and Year Beast Egg and Skins.
New Year Firecrackers is also a key item to craft a 2020 Blessing Card, it can be traded from January 24 to January 30, 2020. We don’t know yet if the existing New Year Firecracker last year can be used this year.
Event 2 – Lunar New Year’s Eve
From January 25 to January 30, 2020, at the Prontera Square, players have to find the NPC Big Cat Man to get free rewards, the 1 x Big Cat Packet 2020. Players will also unlock a new achievement “New Year”.
Event 3 – New Year Countdown
Starting January 23, 2020, A New Menu will be available in the game, its called the Lunar New Year Countdown. It just basically start the countdown until the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Event 4 – New Year Riddle
From January 24 to January 31, 2020, a new NPC will be available at the Prontera Square, his name is Baby Year Beast.

This event involves answering a riddle question.
To answer the question, you need to enter it on the world chat. Getting the correct answer will get you 2020 Blessing Gift. The answer should be in English only.
This riddle question event is only available to one character only.
Event 5 – 2020 Blessing Card
From January 24 to 31, 2020, a new card will be available to King Poring for players to craft. The 2020 Blessing Card, all you need is a number of 2020 New Year Firecracker.
Event 6 – Year Beast Celebration
From January 25 to 30, 2020, a new item will be available at the Big Cat Store (Re-Charge), the 2020 Appreciation Giftbox which cointains the following items:
- 1 x Big Cat Red Packet 2020
- Colorful Shell
- New Year Firecracker
- 10% chance to get Year Beast Emblem.
The Big Cat Red Packet contains a random amount of zeny from 28,888 to 888,888 Zeny.
Event 7 – Lantern Festival
Starting February 8, 2020, at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 10:00 PM and 12:00 MN (Manila Philippine Time), there will be an NPC available in Prontera for 1-hour, the Moon Agent.
Talk to the Moon Agent to answer the riddle question and get rewards.
- Answering all correctly will get you 1 x Myriads of Light Gold.
- Not answering all correctly will get you 1 x Myriads of Light Silver.
The event can be claimed to one character per account only.
Event 8 – Agent of Love
From February 1 to 13, 2020, players can go to the Prontera Square and look for the new NPC, Agent of Love to accept a quest mission.
A total of 5 mission will be available on these dates, each mission will give you a rewards, including the following:
- 1 x Sweet Love Giftbox
- 1 x Love Whisperer Gift
Finishing all of the 5 mission will get you a 1 x Valentines Headwear Blueprint.
The Agent of Love Gift is one of the craft items for the Valentine’s Exclusive Card. The item will be expired after February 21, 2020.
Players can accept the first quest until February 13, 2020 only.
Event 9 – Agent of Love Card
From February 14 to 21, 2020, a new craftable card will be available at the King Poring, the Agent of Love. You need the materials: Agent of Love Gift and Frozen Rose to craft this item.
Event 10 – Valentine Gift
From February 14 to 17, 2020, a new NPC will be available at the Prontera Square and he will be giving a special gift box to everyone. Look for the NPC Emma to claim the Sweet Love Giftbox.
Event 11 – Love Divine
From February 20 to 27, 2020, players who finished the Zodiac Devine will receive the reward Sweet Love Giftbox.
Event 12 – Wedding Dress discount
From February 6 to 20, 2020, the Wedding Dress is 50% off at the Big Cat Store (Recharge).
Event 13 – Wedding Cost Discount
From February 6 to 20, 2020, the Wedding Ceremony is 50% off.
Event 14 – Gachapon Feast
From February 20 to March 5, 2020, a new gachapon set costume is available, the Clear Sky Choir.
Event 15 – Re-connect Love Giftbox
From February 28 to March 14, 2020, a new item Re-connect Love Giftbox will be available at the Big Cat Store (Recharge) for $1.99.
Players can purchase 5 maximum item per account.
The Re-connect Love Giftbox contains the following:
- 2 x SP Version BOSS Materials Box
- 2 x Random Classes new Grade Rune
Event 16 – Re-connect Celebration Giftbox
From February 28 to March 14, 2020, a new item Re-connect Celebration Giftbox will be available at the Big Cat Store (Recharge) for $9.99.
Players can purchase 5 maximum item per account.
The Re-connect Celebration Giftbox contains the following:
- 10 x SP Version BOSS Materials Box
- 2 x Random Classes S Grade Rune
Event 17 – Love & Care Celebration Giftbox
From February 28 to March 14, 2020, the Love & Care Celebration Giftbox will be available at the Big Cat Store (Recharge) for 15 BCC.
It cointains the following items:
- (6 to 15) x Oracle Dush
- (4 to 12) x Mithril
- 0.2% chances to get mount Fenrir VI
Event 18 – Re-connect Carnival
From February 28 to March 12, 2020, the player who has the last login date before January 28 and log in to the game from February 28 to March 12, 2020, will get an in-game mail reward. The in-game mail reward will be sent on March 13, 2020.
The mail contains valuable items that they can use to catch up with the game:
- Re-connect Carnival Giftbox
- 50 x Gold Medal
- 50 x Valkyrie’s Gift
- 500 x Job Potion XL
