Here are the eSports Philippine Lineup for SEA GAMES 2019

Are you guys excited for the most awaited eSports Tournament for this year? The SEA Games 2019 is almost here and it will be held right here in the Philippines. One of the key highlights of the Olympics the very first eSports games in the history of the Olympics games. It was lobbied by the Min Liang Tan, CEO of Razer working with the Philippine government and the Philippines SEA Games Organizing Committee committee and Philippine Olympic Committee to achieve the inclusions of eSports in the upcoming SEA regional games. In November 2018 it is officially announced that eSports will be included in the SEA Games 2019 featuring 6 popular competitive video games.

Video Games that will be played during the SEA Games are Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Dota 2, Arena of Valor, StarCraft II, Hearthstone and Tekken 7.

The national team that will represent the Philippines in the SEA Games are the SIBOL team, named after the word “growth”, and apt as it signifies not only the rise of esports around the world but as well as the advancement of Filipino talents in terms of the eSports.

SEA Games 2019 eSports tournament will be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan from December 5 to 10, 2019.
