The very first Gamescom Asia is finally happenning, and is set to debut in Singapore next year. Gamescom is known as the world’s largest trade show for video games, is highly anticipated annually as it connects the industry’s major companies, gamers and the community. It attracted more than 370,000 people in its 2018 event. The trade show, which is annually held in Europe, and is now expanding to Asia.
Bringing the show to Asia is made possible by Gamescom partnering with GameStart, Koelnmesse Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board. The inaugural exhibition will be held on October 15 to 18, 2020 at the Suntec Singapore Convention Center.

This is a very exciting event not just for gamers in Asia but also for gamers from other parts of the world as the year 2020 is when the next-gen consoles are expected to hit the market. Also, a lot of upcoming games are planned to be released on that year, plus some big announcements for gamers and games companies in the region.
