In Vermilion City, there’s a guy sitting on a chair that looks like Ryu of Street Fighter. Talking to this NPC will give you an offer for exchanging 5 x Growlithe Pokemon for a Persian Cat (Evolve from Mweoth) which you can ride on it’s back.
Getting a Growlithe is very much easy, the spawn location of this Pokemon is just on the north part of Vermilion, at Route 6. It usually spawn on these area for 1 to 3 minutes.
You need to catch 5 of Growlithe.
Once done, you can go back to the guy and claim your Persian Cat.
That’s it! You can now roam around faster than before with your back riding Pokemon.
