A Left 4 Dead inspired co-op shooter game is coming this July. Although Earthfall is not the zombie game that you’re looking for – it is a sci-fi co-op shooter where you’ll be fighting against alien-like creatures. The game is developed by Holospark an independent developer based in Seattle, Washington.
The game is already in the Early Access over a year ago, but it’s ready for the official release that will hit 1.0. Earthfall will also launch in other game consoles, PS4 and Xbox One.
The release date is on July 13, and Holospark is partnering with Gearbox Publishing for the retail version of the game. The physical copy is priced $39.99 and comes with in-game exclusive gear and skins.
The digital version of the game is much affordable, and it will be priced at $29.99 and available to the Steam store.
The Earthfall is a game where you’ll take control of one of the four available characters fighting against the alien creatures, a post-apocalyptic time where aliens invade earth. You’ll be gearing up a bunch of high weapons such AK’s, M4 and Gatling guns. The game also lets you build defenses like turrets or barricades to fend off against the horde. Based on the screenshots, there’s also an alien creature similar to L4D’s Tanker.
The game will also be featuring two campaigns that have ten mission each, the game mission structure will be much similar to the Left 4 Dead.
Earthfall will be available on Steam for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on July 13, 2018.
