After reaching Umon’s Shipyard, Tora’s Unclepon ask you to get some parts to finish building the ship as the it is not ready yet for sailing. This is part of the Main Story Quest Umon’s Ship, the two ingredients that you have to collect are 10 pcs of Puzzletree Wood and 5 pcs of Diamond Oak.
The first ingredients is much easier, you may already get some of these from the Collection point outside the Torigoth town. If you haven’t yet, go to Gormott Province and find collection point and you’ll probably got a hand of the Puzzletree Wood.
The last ingredients is much difficult because the place is one of the Secret Area in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and you have to discover this place in order to skip travel or easily reach it.
The Secret Area Dawnview Grotto can easily be reach by going to Lyta Oasis, skip travel to this destination and you’ll find a big root path on the right going to the top, head to these root and climp up.
Along your way up, you have to take the narrow root on the left as you cannot climb underneath, you also need to walk slowly by slowly pushing the Walk button in order for you not to fall from running.
When you reach the surface, you should see a mountain path on your front going to the top, head to that mountain.
When you’re on the top of the mountain there should a long ladder going to the top.
On the end of the ladder, you should reach the big tree house and there are couple of level 13 monster that you have to engage, just on the side of the house, you should find a cave heading to the Dawnview Grotto and a bunch of Diamond Oak is on the area.
