Want to play like a Spider-Man in the world of VR and want to use your hand to control the game? It is now possible with Oculus Rift Gloves, the Founder of Facebook and CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently uploaded a photo from his Facebook profile showing the picture of their research facility in Redmond, Washington and appears testing the new Oculus Rift Gloves.
Mark Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook Post.
We’re working on new ways to bring your hands in virtual and augmented reality. Wearing these gloves, you can draw, type on a virtual keyboard, and even shoot webs like Spider-Man. That’s what I’m doing here.
In the picture Mark Zuckerberg wear the Oculus headset and wearing the gloves – and the bunch of sensor surrounding him that tracks the movement of his hand from the gloves. According to Verge post, these are the third-party OptiTrack sensors.
However, this is not the first VR gloves controller unveiled in public. The Manus VR was also recently revealed last year showing the same functionalities. Although, this is the first time a major company working on VR gloves.
Other picture also shows the anechoic chamber that perform sound experiment in Oculus research and Mark Zuckerberg added this will be the quietest place in the world that can even hear your heart beat.
