The Philippines is hosting a new Dota 2 tournament this year. The DOTA 2 Masters Manila with a motto line The true Masters of Dota 2 shall rise, a Dota 2 legacy in the making which finds the some of the best Dota 2 Players in the world. It is a joint effort with the ESL and the Mineski Events Team, and the tournament will be a three-day event that will start on May 26 to 28, and will be held in Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay Metro Manila with a whopping prize pool of $250,000. \
Initially, the Dota 2 Masters Manila are starting to invites team for the tournament and one of the first lucky team who got the direct invite is the Evil Geniuses with its players Artour Babaev as Arteezy, Sumail Hassan as Suma1l, Saahil Arora as Universe, Ludwig Wahlberg as Zai and Andreas Nielsen as CR1T. A total of 8 team will be matching in the tournament and there are still seven unnamed teams, and most probably one of our Philippine team are also invited to this tournament.
