NES Classic Edition Hacked Added 30 Games Titles

The NES Classic Edition by Nintendo was successfully hacked by modders and they added additional 30 games title on the game library, originally it only comes with 30 games in all unit like Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby’s Adventure and Punch-out. This is 2 months after the NES Classic Edition was released in public.

On the released of the NES Classic Edition in November 2016, it was quickly sold out in the market and the demand for the console boost because of the holiday season and Nintendo has difficult to supply the demand for this nostalgic console that leads some seller in ebay actually sold the console 3 times the price.

A modders from Russia and Japan were one of the first who successfully hack the NES Classic, the one from Japan which is Honeylabs, was able to hack the console run to a SD card and expand the game library. They actually released a tool to used to hack the NES Classic, however it is quite risky on doing so as the mod are still in early days and it may broke your console.

  • Hundson’s Adventure Island 1 to 3
  • Jackal
  • Little Nemo – The Dream Master
  • Metal Gear
  • RC Pro-An
  • River City Ransom
  • Snake Rattle n Roll
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II The Arcade Game
