If you have lost your disk driver installation for your 58MM Thermal Receipt Printer with model POS-5890C – you can download a copy of this driver here on our page. Its pretty hard to find a copy of this driver online because this kind of thermal printer are generic and getting the official website or manufacturer of this model is no where to found on the internet and you might also getting risk of downloading malicious program, if you’re downloading from unknown source. We had a power outage a few days ago and I think it has corrupted the driver for our thermal receipt printer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. It tests fine and will print which USB port its connected to, but when I attempt to print a receipt from Quickbooks POS, there is nothing on the paper as it is feeding. The cash drawer opens, and the printer starts feeding, but there are no details on the paper. How do I fix this?

Have you tried, doing the test print? Please see the manual on how to do this.

    Good day.

First of all, your article is EXACTLY what I needed. Now, my problem is: the printer was purchased back in 2013 and it was inactive for a couple of years (from 2015 on). When I turn the printer on, it seems to work, the LEDs are lighten, the “feed” button works, and everything seems normal, but whenever I try to get it recognized by my PC (windows 7 64bit) nothing happens. If I try to force the device manager to recognize it, nothing shows up. Does this mean it is unusable now?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
