With just 18 days remaining before the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) on November 19, 2026, the PlayStation 5 Pro has become even more expensive in the Philippines, with a local retailer now listing the console at ₱89,995.

This marks another increase in the console’s local selling price, making it an even bigger investment for Filipino gamers planning to upgrade ahead of Rockstar Games’ biggest release of the year. Unlike the standard PS5, the PS5 Pro has yet to receive official Philippine pricing from Sony, leaving local retailers to set their own selling prices.

The PS5 Pro is Sony’s most powerful PlayStation console, offering enhanced graphics and smoother performance in supported games. However, gamers don’t necessarily need the Pro model to enjoy GTA VI, as the game will also be playable on the standard PS5.
With the countdown to Vice City getting shorter, those still saving for a PS5 Pro may find themselves facing an even tougher challenge: getting the console before the game arrives.
