After years of waiting, Filipino Nintendo fans will finally have their own Nintendo eShop. Nintendo officially announced on October 26, 2026, that its digital storefront and Nintendo Switch Online services will launch in the Philippines on November 10, 2026, for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

The launch means Filipino players will be able to purchase and download digital games, DLC, and Nintendo Switch Online memberships through the Philippine eShop. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will also have access to online multiplayer, a collection of classic Nintendo games, and cloud save features.
Previously, Filipino players had to rely on Nintendo eShop accounts set to other countries, such as the United States or Japan, to purchase digital games. With the upcoming launch, players will finally have an official local option.
However, one big question remains: Will Nintendo games be cheaper or more expensive in the Philippines? Nintendo has yet to reveal its local game prices or confirm whether regional pricing will be offered. For now, Filipino gamers will have to wait and see how Philippine eShop prices compare with those in other countries.
The launch follows Nintendo’s earlier expansion into Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand in November 2025, bringing its digital services to more players across Southeast Asia.
