Digimon fans will soon have another way to raise their own digital partners, as Digimon Up is set to launch as a free-to-play monster-raising RPG for mobile. The game lets players grow stronger together with their Digimon, bringing the familiar partner-raising experience to phones. Bandai Namco lists the game as free to play with some paid items and loot boxes.
For longtime fans, the appeal is simple: it brings back that childhood Digivice feeling, but now through a mobile screen. Instead of only watching the adventure, players can raise, train, and build a bond with their Digimon anytime, anywhere. The game is expected to launch on July 15.
