Valve’s Steam Machine Arrives June 30 With Prices Starting at $1,049

For players who need more space, Valve is also offering a $1,428 package with a 2TB SSD. This version includes the Steam Controller, along with red fabric and solid walnut faceplates for customizing the device.

Despite the price difference, both versions use the same core hardware, including a six-core AMD Zen 4 processor, RDNA 3 graphics with 28 compute units, 16GB of DDR5 memory and 8GB of GDDR6 video memory.

The six-inch cube also supports expandable storage through microSD and includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Gigabit Ethernet and a built-in wireless adapter for the Steam Controller.

Valve is accepting reservation registrations until June 25. Qualified Steam users will be selected randomly, with purchase invitations expected to arrive during the week of June 29.
