The mobile version of Pokémon Champions is planned to release for iOS and Android on June 17, 2026, bringing its battle-focused Pokémon gameplay to more players.

Pre-registration is now available through the App Store and Google Play, with the game’s basic gameplay available at no cost. Optional in-game purchases will also be available.

Pokémon Champions lets players enjoy complex Pokémon battles similar to past mainline games, but in a more accessible way across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, and Android. The Nintendo Switch version is currently available on the Nintendo eShop, while a free update is also available for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.

Players can also use the same save data across devices by logging in with the same Nintendo Account. An internet connection is required to play.

To celebrate the mobile release, The Pokémon Company will hold a special campaign where players can receive Raichu, Raichunite X, and Raichunite Y from June 17 to September 2, 2026. These can be claimed through the in-game mailbox in both the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions.

With Raichunite X, Raichu can Mega Evolve into Mega Raichu X, which has the Electric Surge Ability. Meanwhile, Raichunite Y lets Raichu Mega Evolve into Mega Raichu Y, which has the No Guard Ability.
Pokémon Champions’ mobile release is currently scheduled for June 17, though The Pokémon Company notes that the release date may still change without prior notice.
