Six-Week Growth Support Event Designed to Help New Players Settle In Faster

Indonesian Language Support and Local Culture-Inspired Content Added

Leading global game developer Wemade is expanding its starter support event for the global service of its MMORPG Legend of YMIR, alongside the introduction of Indonesian language support and regionally tailored content aimed at strengthening the game’s localized player experience.

Designed to help starter players settle in faster, the enhanced support event offers a six-week progression program featuring staged check-in rewards, equipment, and essential growth materials for character development.

To ease early progression, players will receive key rewards throughout the leveling process. Rewards ranging from Rare- to Epic-grade items, along with level achievement rewards, are designed to help players grow their combat power more efficiently and ease the transition into mid- and late-game content.

Wemade is also preparing a slate of upcoming updates for existing and returning players. The update roadmap includes expanded progression systems, raid content, cooperative gameplay features, and clan-based battle content, offering a wider variety of gameplay experiences across progression, cooperation, and competitive play. Additional growth systems and combat-focused updates will continue rolling out in phases.

As part of the update, Wemade is also expanding localized content for Indonesian players. Alongside Indonesian language support, the update introduces a new Disir inspired by “Barong Ket”, a legendary creature from Indonesian folklore. Buff items inspired by iconic Indonesian cuisine will also be introduced as event rewards, incorporating familiar elements of Indonesian culture into the game.

The initiative reflects Wemade’s broader strategy of creating regionally tailored experiences that go beyond language support alone. Building on its experience operating localized content and servers for players in the Philippines, Wemade plans to continue expanding culturally relevant content tailored to players across different regions and markets.
“We wanted to create an environment where players beginning their journey in Legend of YMIR can settle in faster and jump into the game’s main content sooner, while naturally incorporating each region’s cultural identity into the game,” said a Wemade representative. “Moving forward, we will continue strengthening Legend of YMIR’s global presence by delivering more immersive and locally tailored experiences for players around the world.”
