Com2uS (CEO Jae-kwan Nam) launched a series of events celebrating the 12th anniversary of Summoners War: Sky Arena (hereinafter Summoners War).
Since its release in 2014, Summoners War has been a flagship mobile RPG by Com2uS, loved globally for its diverse Monster collection and unique strategic deck-building gameplay. Following the 12th Anniversary Eve Event that began on April 2 and built excitement, the newly launched anniversary events officially kick off a full-scale celebration with a wide range of rewards and content.
First, a Monster acquisition and growth event has been introduced. By using Ameria’s Luck, players can earn daily rewards and select one default 5★ Fire, Water, or Wind Monster, fully upgraded to 6★, max level with all skills powered up. Players can change their selection once after choosing, and they can also level up the skills of other default 5★ Monsters they own, up to 12 times.
In the 12-Year Special Shop, players can use 12-Year Coins—including ones earned from the Eve Event—to obtain special items such as the Luna Star Mermaid Transmogrification, 12-Year Special Summonhenge Skin, 12-Year Special Profile Background, as well as 12-Year Special Scrolls and 12-Year Legendary Scrolls.
In addition, various events are underway, including those that grant 12-Year Light & Darkness Scrolls and other Attribute Scrolls from PvP and guild content gameplay, growth missions for new and returning players, and refund perks for Mystical Scrolls and 12-Year Special Scrolls. A special event celebrating the release of the new default 5★ Monster Dr. Plasma is also live, offering generous rewards such as a Legendary Scroll when summoning Monsters.
Dr. Plasma, designed as an eccentric scientist, features unique abilities that steal enemies’ beneficial effects or transfer its harmful effects to enemies. With a striking appearance—featuring a blue flame-like head and a torn lab coat—the Monster delivers a strong visual and gameplay impact.
Additional updates include a special 12th Anniversary Special Stage and decorative items, the Summon Mileage system that expands opportunities to obtain Monsters, and the permanent Special quest feature in Summoner’s Way that allows both new and existing players to acquire one default 4★ and one default 5★ Monster of their choice through gameplay. The new equipment Relic, which can be applied to up to 100 Monsters simultaneously, has also been added to introduce a new layer of progression.
A dedicated special page for the 12th anniversary is also available, where players can easily check rewards, events, and information about the new Monster. The newly released cinematic video tells the story of a 12th anniversary bus driven by Ellia, picking up 12 Monsters across the game world and arriving at the Sky Island festival at exactly midnight. The video highlights the newly transformed Sky Island and symbolizes the start of the anniversary celebration.
