RF Online Next has opened global pre-registration on Epic Games, PC, and mobile, bringing the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 sci-fi MMORPG closer to its global launch.
The June 18 release date is based on the game’s Apple App Store listing, which currently shows the date as its expected release. Since this may still change, it is best treated as a tentative launch date for now.
The upcoming MMORPG expands RF Online into a larger interplanetary setting, featuring planetary warfare, realm-versus-realm battles, and Unreal Engine 5 visuals. Unlike the original game, which focused on conflict within a single planet, RF Online Next aims to deliver a wider sci-fi war experience across multiple worlds.
One of its biggest new features is the Biosuit system, which allows players to switch between six combat roles during battle instead of being locked into one class. Familiar elements from the original game, including MAUs, Launchers, and Animus, are also making a return for longtime fans.
