It did not take long. Just days after Resident Evil Requiem launched, modders have already delivered the inevitable crossover: a character swap that replaces Leon S. Kennedy with Carl Johnson, better known as CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The mod, now available on Nexus Mods, swaps Leon’s in-game model with CJ while preserving gameplay functionality, resulting in a surreal but oddly fitting horror crossover. Seeing CJ step into a tense survival horror setting proves once again how quickly the modding scene moves when a new game hits PC.
