The Saga: The Missing Trade Station Items questline in Legend of Ymir introduces players to the trading system, one of the key in-game features that allows you to trade equipment and items with other players. However, this quest can be a bit confusing since it requires traveling between multiple regions and locating specific NPCs in distant areas.
This guide will walk you through every step of the mission so you can unlock player trading quickly and efficiently.
Quest 1: Talk to Trade Station Keeper Vargren
Clue: Vargren, the Trade Station Keeper of Asgard Castle, is looking for me. I should go to the house in front of the Outer Castle Entrance.
To begin the quest:
- Teleport to Asgard Castle -> Landpark -> Outer Castle Entrance.
- Near the Outer Castle Entrance, you’ll find Trade Station Keeper Vargren standing in front of a small house.
- Talk to Vargren to learn about the missing shipment of trade items.
Quest 2: Talk to Misc. Merchant Berle
Clue: “The items that were supposed to come from Hermod’s Crossroads have not arrived. I should go to Misc. Merchant Berle at Windy Dock to check on the current situation.”
To continue:
- Teleport to Hermod’s Crossroads -> Landmark -> Windy Dock
- You’ll find Misc. Merchant Berle standing by the docks.
- Talk to the NPC to activate.
This will unlock your next quest to search for the missing delivery.
Quest 3: Search for the Vanished Cart
Clue: “Misc. Merchant Berle said he already sent the items away on a cart. I should investigate the main road from the docks of Hermod’s Crossroads to Asgard Castle. There may be a cart somewhere.”
This part can be tricky since there’s no direct waypoint marker.
- From Hermod’s Crossroads, follow the main road leading back toward Asgard Castle.
- Continue along the route until you reach the bridge area near the bottom-left corner of the map.
- You’ll notice a cart lying overturned on the side of the road.
- Approach it to trigger the next part of the quest.
Quest 4: Defeat the Bandit Who Pillaged the Items
Clue: “I must find the person who pillaged the items by defeating the Bandits horde. They should be at the Mound of Greed near the cart.”
- Near the overturned cart, you’ll find a group of Bandit monsters (eg. Dock Rookie Bandit) in the Mound of Greed area.
- Defeat all the enemies surrounding the site.
- Once all bandits are eliminated, the quest will automatically complete.
After recovering the stolen goods, you’ll unlock the final part of this storyline.
Quest 5: Find the Missing Item Pouch
Clue: “The Bandits hid the stolen items at a watchtower near the Vagabond Campsite at Hermod’s Crossroads. I should search the area around the watchtower thoroughly.”
Steps:
- Still from Hermod’s Crossword, teleport to Landmark -> Vagabond Campsite.
- From there, head toward the watchtower nearby.
- Search the surrounding area you’ll find a glowing pouch hidden at the bottom of the tower.
- Interact with it to recover the Missing Item Pouch.
Quest 6: Find the Missing Item Chest
Clue: “The other items were apparently hidden at a place with water. I need to search the area around the Crossroads Riverhead thoroughly.”
Steps:
- Still in Hermod’s Crossroads, teleport to Landmark -> Crossroads Riverhead.
- Search the area along the pond look for a glowing chest near the water’s edge.
- Interact with it to retrieve the Missing Item Chest.
Quest 7: Talk to Trade Station Keeper Vargren
Clue: “All the pillaged items have been found. I should go to the house in front of the Outer Castle Entrance of Asgard Castle and see Trade Station Keeper Vargren.”
Steps:
- Return to Asgard Castle → Outer Castle Entrance.
- Talk to Vargren again to report the recovery of all missing goods.
- After your conversation, the questline will be marked as complete, and the trading feature will now be unlocked.
Quest Completion: Unlock the Trade System of the Legend of Ymir
Completing this saga unlocks the Trade Station and Region Trade, allowing you to:
- Buy and sell equipment between players.
- Trade materials and rare items.
- Earn gold through the in-game economy.
