Celebrating its 2-year anniversary, Ragnarok X Next Generation presents a grand event with the Music Carnival Event, designed for all adventurers. Beginning today, June 8 to July 9, 2023, this month-long event promises a thrilling roster of activities and rewards.
Accompanying the Music Carnival Event are a series of game updates that Ragnarok X Next Generation is rolling out. One of the most anticipated is the Gold Card’s star-card feature, allowing you to merge gold cards for a significant boost in stats, along with a 100% pet taming success rate, among other enhancements.
Another notable improvement is the revamp of gift box contents. ROX has finally realized and discarded the useless filler items, replacing them with more useful ones for your adventure. During the event, you can expect to find handy items such as the Alloy Pickaxe and Auto Fishing Rod in your common gift boxes. We’re not sure if these better gift boxes will be around for future events but hoping so!
To make sure you don’t miss out on anything, we’ve made this simple guide. It will help you understand each event happening at the Music Carnival:
Event Costume and Mount

Event 1: Free Gold Card (Amazing Event)
From June 8 to July 9, 2023, a announced before, Ragnarok X Next Generation slated their FREE gold card event in which players can obtain this card by doing certain quest like daily sign-in, consuming odin’s blessings/stamina, completing guild orders, participating in KVM, and topping-up a Diamonds.

From today, June 8, 2023, you have an extra incentive to log in – each time a new event for the 2nd anniversary kicks off, you can claim a reward.

Event 3: Neon Message
This event, which runs from June 8 to July 2, is all about sending your personal message across Prontera on an LED-like screen.
You can choose from three different types of messages, depending on your budget:

For those on a tight budget, there’s a FREE in-game message token you can use to display a message without spending any in-game currency.
Event 4: Time Reward
Running concurrently from June 8 to July 2, the Time Reward event is your in-game progress tracker, recording achievements such as monsters defeated, equipment upgrades, refinements and many more.
You’ll receive 20 x Anniversary Revelry Chests as rewards, filled with an Odin Blessing emote that sparks a fireworks display and useful items like Alloy Pickaxe, Auto-Fishing Rod, Mission Order, and Yggdrasil Berry.
Event 5: Highlighted Planning
From June 8 to July 2, the Highlighted Planning event measures your overall progress since you created your ROX account. So, this event is in favor for those who are veteran to the game and new account may struggle completing most of the event.
The more active you’ve been since then, the more you’ll progress in this event. Reaching level 80, you’ll get a limited-edition Dazzling Poring mount, exclusive costumes, and other special event materials.

Regrettably for free-to-play users, achieving the maximum level of 80 requires a top-up of 106,000 Diamonds, equivalent to PHP 11,180, to unlock the additional three levels.
Event 6: Midnight Revelry
Starting on June 8 until July 1, the Midnight Revelry event invites you to show off your dance moves.
Head to the designated spot (Odin Statue, near Valkyrie NPC) in Prontera between 7:00PM and 11:00PM (Manila, Philippine Time). Make sure to arrive precisely on the hour (say, 7:00PM, 8:00PM, etc.) – it’s your cue to start dancing. Receiving rewards will end after 10 minutes. You can only get 5 boxes each day and you can get all of these boxes in one schedule. Here is the exact schedule for easy reference:

Beginning on June 18, the Sign-In Challenge is a mystery event, with details to be revealed closer to the date. Get ready to face an intriguing series of tasks that will test your game commitment and reward you handsomely.
