Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX) has released a highly anticipated item that addresses a common problem encountered by adventurers – the unpredictable spawn times of MVPs and Mini monsters. In the past, the only indication of when a boss would appear was through vague messages like “Short Time” and “Refreshing soon”, leaving players to wait around aimlessly.
Thankfully, the new item called “Boss Radar” has been added to the game, allowing players to pinpoint the exact time a boss will spawn. This item can be used on Channel 1 of the spawn location for MVPs and Mini bosses, providing valuable information that can help players plan their strategies and maximize their chances of securing the loot and rewards.
- Boss Radar can only be used on Channel 1 of the MVP/Mini Boss Location.
- You can only purchase 2 items of Boss Radar per day at the Sundries Store.
- Do not use Boss Radar on other channels or else it will be used up.
- Asked Party/Guild member to use Boss Radar to overcome the two per day limit.
Where to Purchase Boss Radar
This item can be obtained and purchased from Sundries Store NPC. It cost around 20,000 Zeny and there is a limit purchase of 2 items per day.
How to Use it
Basically, to use Boss Radar, you have to go to the Channel 1 of the MVP / Mini Boss location. From there, an exact time of the MVP/Mini will show up like “Radar has detected that the monster on this map, Vagabond Wolf, will be refreshed in 20m09s”. This means, 20 minutes and 9 seconds left before it will appear.
It is important to note that the Boss Radar only in Channel 1 of the spawn location, as it won’t work on other channels and will be used up if you attempt to do so and will display “This map doesn’t contain MVP/Mini monsters, or they have all been refreshed already”. Also, only the MVP/Mini monster with the shortest time remaining until its spawn will be displayed on the Boss Radar, so players will need to plan accordingly if multiple bosses are due to appear.
How to Overcome the 2 Items per Day Limit
Since Boss Radar can only be purchased 2 times per day, you are limited to knowing the exact spawn time to 2 bosses only.
What you can do to overcome this limit is by asking your party member or guild mates to open up the Boss Radar and reveal the boss time. You may also use your other character for this.
With the introduction of the Boss Radar, players no longer have to rely on guesswork or spend hours camping out at spawn locations. Instead, they can use this innovative tool to save time and effort while increasing their chances of success. So, if you want to stay ahead of the game and gain an edge over your competitors, be sure to get your hands on a Boss Radar today!
