At the recent Huawei Developer Day (HDD – APAC) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Connexion Conference & Event Centre last November 15, 2022, several awards were given out for app developers and partners. Nuverse (Hong Kong) Limited was one of the companies who won the Most Valuable Partner award for the game Ragnarok X Next Generation.
Huawei Developer Day is the company’s annual get-together for mobile app developers, content providers, brands and media that aims to explore opportunities for growth and drive the mobile app industry forward. This year’s event will include presentations on how vertical industries can benefit from a booming Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem.
There will also be insights on the latest practices in e-commerce, gaming, entertainment, digital travel, and tech living for a better world. The event gathered more than 300 attendees.
Ragnarok X Next Generation is one of the hottest MMORPG games in mobile and has been available for Huawei AppGallery since its launch. The game is becoming increasingly popular among players from SouthEast Asia. And in the recent Huawei Developer Day, the publisher Nuverse (Hong Kong) Limited was named as one of the Most Valuable Partner awards for the MMORPG game. The award was presented to a number of partners who have contributed to the wide success of Huawei’s ecosystem.
The HMS solution offers a one-stop service platform for game developers through AppGallery, which has over 580 million monthly active users. The platform gives players insights based on its device user base and offers innovative technologies for app development. It also leverages its extensive reach to distribute games around the world.
Philippine tech companies have also made it to the list, including GCash, a digital payment wallet in the Philippines; Kumu, an online streaming service; and KonsultaMD, an online medical consultation with professional doctors.
